Tyler Herro, Heat complete comeback to top Pistons

Tyler Herro poured in 31 points off the bench and the Miami Heat outscored Detroit 33-16 in the fourth quarter to defeat the host Pistons 100-92 on Tuesday.Herro added eight rebounds and three assists. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo had 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists apiece, while Kyle Lowry supplied 15 points, eight assists and six rebounds. Duncan Robinson chipped in 11 points.Jerami Grant led Detroit with 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. Saddiq Bey contributed 15 points, Frank Jackson had 13 points and Hamidou Diallo added 10.The Pistons were without two starters. Killian Hayes missed his second straight game with a sprained thumb, while Isaiah Stewart served the first game of a two-game league suspension. Stewart had an altercation with the Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James on Sunday.Bey scored 11 points in the first quarter as the Pistons took a 25-20 lead. Grant had 12 points by halftime as the Pistons led 53-46.With the score 55-52, the Pistons reeled off six consecutive points, including a Grant jumper. An 11-5 Detroit spurt later in the quarter made it 72-61. Jackson had five points and Trey Lyles added four during that stretch. A Diallo basket in the final second of the third gave the Pistons a 76-67 advantage entering the final quarter.
