Don’t count out the 2025 Detroit Lions just yet.
With their (playoff) backs against the wall, the Lions needed a spark to get the momentum back as we hit the stretch run of the regular season, and they got just that in all three phases during Thursday night’s primetime showdown against Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys.
Star running back Jahmyr Gibbs notched three more rushing touchdowns, while the defense recorded five sacks and three turnovers in a 44-30 Lions victory over the Cowboys inside Ford Field.
The Lions improved to 8-5 on the season, while the Cowboys dropped to 6-6-1 with four games remaining in the regular season.

The Lions will get a little bit of extra rest before their next contest a week from Sunday on December 14th as they’ll fly out to L.A. to, once again, take on an old friend in Matthew Stafford and the 9-3 Los Angeles Rams at 4:25 pm.
The Rams do have a game to play this coming Sunday on the road against the 3-9 Arizona Cardinals.
