It was a Sunday Night Football defensive slugfest in “The City of Brotherly Love” as the Detroit Lions battled the Philadelphia Eagles in a low scoring affair that resulted in the Lions struggling offensively from the opening kickoff and unable to convert in key situations in 16-9 setback to fall to 6-4 on the season.
With the victory, the Eagles improved to 8-2.

The Lions now have their sights set on a three-game homestand at Ford Field that begins this coming Sunday afternoon against the struggling and 2-9 New York Giants at 1 pm.
