The #23-ranked Grand Valley State Football team looked to stay unbeaten in the month of November as they squared off against a stout Michigan Tech Huskies squad as both teams looked to keep their narrow playoff hopes alive.
Ultimately, it would be the Lakers that would have a little more offensive fire power in the tank and pick up an 18-15 Homecoming victory over the Huskies inside Lubbers Stadium.

The Lakers, now ranked #21 in the AFCA (Coaches) and #25 in the D2Football (Media) Polls nationally, will wrap up the regular season this Saturday afternoon for Senior Day against the Roosevelt Lakers (2-7, 1-5 GLIAC) at 1 pm in the first all-time meeting between the two schools in Allendale.
