The Detroit Lions continue its businesslike approach of late after making the road trip down to “The Queen City” and handling their business against the Joe Burrow-less Cincinnati Bengals with a 37-24 victory to improve to 4-1 on the season and 3-0 against the AFC North.
The Lions’ biggest lead was 28-3 after three quarters of play and had to hold a furious fourth quarter rally by the Bengals to eventually capture the two-score victory.
With the loss, the Bengals drop to 2-3 on the season and have now lost three straight.

Detroit is on the road once again this coming weekend as the Sunday Night Football spotlight tracks the Lions over to Kansas City as the 2-2 Chiefs will serve as the host for an 8:20 pm kickoff.
Like the Lions’ prior opponent, the Chiefs will be coming off a short week with travel as they currently sit at 2-2 with a Monday Night Football matchup in Jacksonville against the 3-1 Jaguars on deck for them tonight.
