Lions stumble out the gate in Week 1 loss at Green Bay

To put it nicely, the Detroit Lions’ start to the 2025 season did not go so well….at all.

Poor offensive line play, lack of a pass rush, and costly penalties were some of the many issues that plagued the Lions in a 27-13 Week 1 loss at Lambeau Field to the Green Bay Packers.

The lone highlight from the game came from the local product with this incredible touchdown grab late in the fourth quarter:

The Lions will look to rebound this Sunday afternoon at 1 pm in the 2025 Home Opener at Ford Field against another NFC North foe in the Chicago Bears.
