It was a sloppy start to the preseason for the Detroit Lions as all key starters and reserves sat out Thursday night’s Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio only to see the guys who did take the field commit five turnovers, three interceptions and two special teams fumbles, and get whistled for eight penalties for 68 yards as the Los Angeles Chargers eventually cruised their way to a 34-7 win.
The lone Lions score came from running back Craig Reynolds in the second quarter:
Detroit’s next preseason contest takes place on Friday, August 8th in Atlanta against the Falcons at 7 pm.
