Tigers Weekly Report: A Rollercoaster Week

This past week for the Detroit Tigers was full of peaks and valleys after ending a ten-game road trip on the highest of highs before returning home over the weekend and coming back down to Earth a little bit.

The Tigers began the week by taking care of business in a three-game road sweep out in Denver of the league’s worst team in the Colorado Rockies followed by returning home to Comerica Park and dropping two of three against the Texas Rangers to finish with a 4-2 week.

Detroit still holds the advantage over three other teams for the top spot in the American League Central as we enter the second full of May:
