Big Ten Football Weekly Awards: MSU’s Jacoby Windmon and Michigan’s Jake Moody collect more honors

Week #7 of the college football season saw both #3 Michigan and Michigan State pick up conference victories at home that featured a bevy of individual breakout performances from both sides.

As a result, two players, one on each team, were recognized by the Big Ten Conference for their performances on Saturday.

Windmon, the transfer from UNLV, has recorded 37 tackles (13 solo), 5.5 sacks, an interception, a fumble recovery, and six forced fumbles through seven games this season with the Spartans.

Moody, the Northville native, is a perfect 33-for-33 on extra point attempts this season while also making 13 of his 16 field goal attempts.

Both the Wolverines and Spartans have a bye this week before battling one another in Ann Arbor on Saturday, October 29th.
