The Grand Valley State Lakers Football team, now ranked #3 in the country, have rattled off two Top 25 victories to start the 2022 season and have accomplished this with numerous contributions in all three facets of the game.
This past Saturday night, the Lakers went out to Colorado and dispatched of the #21-ranked Colorado State-Pueblo ThunderWolves by a 35-10 final courtesy of a strong rushing attack on offense.
Individually, junior Tariq Reid led the way on the ground with 19 carries for 148 yards and two touchdowns that eventually earned him some conference honors for his performance during Week #2.
Through two games, Reid leads the Lakers with 33 carries for 174 yards and three touchdowns while also adding a catch for 16 receiving yards.
