The Detroit Tigers have officially sealed the deal with RHP Jackson Jobe, the third overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft. The Heritage Hall School (Oklahoma) product signed for just under slot value at $6.9 million, $321,200 less than the normal value for that pick ($7,221,200 value).

In addition, the Tigers were able to sign second-round pick (39th overall) SS Izaac Pacheco for $2.75 million, $843,200 above the slot value for that pick ($1,906,800 value).
