Steelers’ Mason Rudolph fined $50K for brawl with Garrett

Steelers’ QB Mason Rudolph has been fined $50,000 by the Steelers for his part in the now infamous brawl with Cleveland Browns’ Myles Garrett.  He’s one of 33 people that have been disciplined over the brawl, according to NFL.com.

Myles Garrett tried to appeal his season suspension for ripping Rudolph’s helmet from his head and hitting him with it.  In the hearing Garrett said Rudolph used a racial slur against him but the NFL said they have found no evidence to support that claim.

With 21 Steelers players and 12 of Cleveland’s own getting disciplined, the total cost in fines has come up to over $732,000.

Do you think Rudolph’s punishment is just?  Can you think of a brawl in sports history that was more insane?
