A number of injured Detroit Lions to keep an eye on going into week four

The Detroit Lions have been a fairly healthy football team this season compared to other teams around the league. On Sunday, the Eagles were decimated with injuries and it showed at times.

The Lions now have a couple players to keep an eye on as we head into week four of the regular season.

Mike Daniels suffered a foot injury on Sunday afternoon against the Eagles that took him out of the game. The Lions signed him to a one-year deal after the Green Packers cut him before the preseason.

Darius Slay injured a hamstring after nearly coming with an interception that would’ve turned into a touchdown. As many of you know, he’s been a cornerstone of this Lions defense for years and is regularly mentioned in the category for best defensive backs in the league.

LionsWire provides a snap count from Sunday of some other players dealing with minor injuries for the Lions as well:

Christian Jones — 39 (51-percent)
Danny Amendola — 23 (36-percent)
Jesse James — 35 (55-percent)

Matt Patricia will need everyone ready to go for Sunday as they face their biggest test of the young season. The Kansas City Chiefs come to Ford Field this weekend.
