Detroit Lions receive zero first place votes to win NFC North

Surprised? It’s hard to be at this point.

The Detroit Lions received zero votes by NFL.com to win the NFC North division this year.

The Minnesota Vikings received the most first-place votes (13). The Bears received ten while Aaron Rodgers and the Packers received six votes to win the division.

The north is tough this year. The Bears return a very good defense while the Vikings have one of the most explosive offenses in the league. You can also never count out the Pack when Rodgers is healthy.

And…well…the Lions are the Lions. They received one vote to finish as the final wild card team to make the postseason. After a 6-10 year, many fans are hoping the Lions return to the playoffs again after a two-year dry spell.
