Detroit Lions: Two players avoid serious injury, IR won’t be needed

Lions fans all over were holding their breath during Friday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

Just minutes into the game, starting linebacker Jarrad Davis was escorted off the field by trainers because he was unable to put any weight on his right leg.

In the second quarter, starting center Frank Ragnow went down and had to be escorted off as well.

Davis was their first-round pick in 2017 while Ragnow was their first-round pick in 2018. That heightened the anxiety and had many fans losing their minds on social media.

Luckily, NFL insider Ian Rapaport provided some news that gave fans a sigh of relief.

Davis and Ragnow look to be crucial pieces to the success on their respective sides of the ball.
