Peyton Manning has been tied to a couple of different jobs relating to the NFL. It was rumored that he may have an opportunity to be the GM of the New York Jets when that job opened up earlier this month.
According to the former Super Bowl champion, the team never once talked to him about the opening.
Manning said he did have conversations with ESPN about joining the Monday Night Football crew after Jason Witten left for his second tour in the NFL earlier this year.

His answer suggests it’s something he might be open to doing in the future. It wouldn’t surprise many people that the former Super Bowl champion might to return to the game in some way.
Joe Tessitore will be the play-by-play analyst once again for Monday Night Football in 2019. Booger McFarland will move from being a sideline analyst to being the color commentator.
Lisa Salters will take McFarland’s job as the sideline analyst.
