The Detroit Lions have signed the first member of their 2023 NFL Draft class to a contract extension as they have agreed on a new four-year deal with linebacker Jack Campbell locking up the former Iowa Hawkeye through the 2030 season.

Campbell, the 18th overall pick by the Lions in the 2023 NFL Draft, has played in every game, including the playoffs, through his first three NFL seasons totaling 431 tackles (226 solo) to go with 19 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries.
This past season, Campbell was selected to his first career Pro Bowl while also be voted as a First Team All-Pro.
