The Men’s Basketball National Championship drought is over….both for the University of Michigan and the Big Ten Conference.
For the first time since 1989, the best team in college basketball resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan as the Wolverines claimed the program’s second title following a gutsy 69-63 victory over the Connecticut Huskies during the National Championship Game in Indianapolis.

Michigan finishes the 2025-26 season with a 37-3 overall record, an outright Big Ten Regular Season title, and a National Championship.
