For the first time since the 2018-19 season, the Grand Valley State Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams both made the NCAA Tournament as the women stayed home in Allendale to host their respective Midwest Regional, while the men traveled out to North Canton, Ohio for the Midwest Regional.
This past weekend saw the GVSU Women secure another Midwest Regional Championship are heading back to Pittsburgh, while the GVSU Men’s season ended in heartbreak during Sunday’s Regional Semifinal battle against Michigan Tech.

The GVSU Men end its successful 2025-26 season with a 26-7 overall record, GLIAC Postseason Tournament Championship, and their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2019.
