The Detroit Lions have moved on from running back David Montgomery after three seasons in Detroit trading the 28-year-old to the Houston Texans in exchange for two draft picks and offensive lineman Juice Scruggs.

After spending his first four NFL seasons with the Chicago Bears, Montgomery appeared in 45 regular season games as a Lion over three seasons totaling 2,506 rushing yards, 650 receiving yards, and 33 rushing touchdowns.
Montgomery also played in four postseason games with Detroit recording 211 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns.

In addition, the Lions released offensive lineman and former Michigan Wolverine Graham Glasgow after spending the last three seasons in Detroit and seven in total over two different stints.
