The 2025-26 regular season was one of historical significance for the Grand Rapids Griffins that includes clinching the Central Division title back on March 26th and claiming the best record in the Western Conference with a 51-16-4-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record, good for 107 points and eight points better than the second-best team in the conference in the Ontario Reign.
The Griffins also finished the regular season 20 points clear of the second-place Chicago Wolves for the best record in the Central Division.

The Griffins have received a first-round bye in the Calder Cup Playoffs and will await the winner of the best-of-three matchup between the #4-seed Manitoba Moose and #5-seed Milwaukee Admirals in the Central Division Semifinals.
The division semifinal round will be a best-of-five series with Games 3, 4, and 5 taking place inside Van Andel Arena in downtown Grand Rapids.
