To begin the month of February, the Grand Valley State Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams hit the road to Hammond, Indiana (Thursday night) and Detroit, Michigan (Saturday afternoon) to begin the stretch run of the regular season.
The road trip got off on a positive note with both teams winning on Thursday to keep their respective winning streaks alive, but Saturday’s doubleheader did not turn out the way both teams had hoped with the women losing for the first time this season and the men seeing their winning streak stopped at nine games.
