Before the Kyle Whittingham era begins in Ann Arbor, the Michigan Football team had one more piece of business to attend to before the 2025 wrapped up as they took to Orlando to battle Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns.
A tight game through three quarters of play saw the Longhorns pull away late courtesy of the arm and legs of Arch Manning, who totaled 376 yards of total offense (221 passing and 155 rushing) to go with four total touchdowns, in a 41-27 victory in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl.
Texas ended its 2025 campaign at 10-3, while Michigan’s rollercoaster season concludes at 9-4 as the Biff Poggi magic ran out on New Year’s Eve.
