Just when you thought the Detroit Lions pulled off a miraculous come-from-behind home regular season finale victory on Sunday over the Pittsburgh Steelers, think again.
Due to a pair of offensive pass interference calls in the waning moments of regulation, one occurring at the Steelers’ one yard line, the Lions’ comeback effort would fall short in 29-24 setback inside Ford Field to fall to 8-7 on the season with two games remaining on the road.

In order for the Lions to make the postseason, they would need to win their final two games at Minnesota and Chicago and have the Packers drop its final two games of the regular season at home against Baltimore and on the road against Minnesota.
Next up, the Lions are in Minnesota to battle the Vikings for a Christmas Day matchup at 4:30 pm.
