Detroit Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell decided to grab the bull by the horns and take over the offensive playcalling from John Morton during this past Sunday’s road game against the struggling Washington Commanders, and the result was pretty much perfection.
The Lions never punted, didn’t turn the football over, and the Commanders’ defense did not record a sack or tackle for loss in the 44-22 victory for Detroit to improve their overall mark to 6-3 on the season.
With the loss, Washington fell to 3-7 and have now lost five straight games.
