The 2026 college football season for both the Western Michigan Broncos and Michigan Wolverines was initially going to kickoff in Ann Arbor on Saturday, September 5th.

Now, those plans are reportedly going to change in a big way that includes their season-opening contest being pushed up to Week 0.

According to the universities, Michigan has never played a regular season game outside of North America, while Western Michigan has played one game internationally back during the 2007 season in Toronto against Cincinnati.
