Tigers rookie Jackson Jobe to undergo Tommy John surgery and miss remainder of 2025 season

Detroit Tigers rookie pitcher Jackson Jobe is expected to undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery that will also sideline the soon-to-be 23-year-old for at least a good portion of the 2026 season.

In his first full season at the Major League level, the former 3rd overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft started ten games and posted a 4-1 record in 49 innings pitched to go with a 4.22 ERA, 39 strikeouts, and 27 walks.
