The Toledo Walleye have made the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals three times since the 2018-19 season that includes this season, but all three times, they have fallen short in their quest for the elusive Kelly Cup.

During this season’s league final, the Walleye took Game 1 at home by a 3-1 decision only to see the Trois-Rivieres Lions take the next four, including the last three at home, to win the best-of-seven series, 4-1.

During the 2019 Kelly Cup Final, the Walleye fell in six games to the Newfoundland Growlers, 4-2, and in the 2022 league final, Toledo was ousted by the Florida Everblades in five games, 4-1.
