Lions rout Titans for fifth consecutive victory

The Detroit Lions returned to Ford Field for their first home contest since the Monday Night Football primetime game against the Seattle Seahawks on September 30th and gave the home crowd a dominate performance against the struggling Tennessee Titans for pick up their sixth victory in seven games this season.

Basically, special teams and capitalizing on four Titans turnovers were the main takeaways from the home win.

The Lions’ 6-1 overall mark still puts them at the top of the NFC North Standings heading into Week #9 of the regular season:

Speaking of the NFC North, the Lions are back on the road this Sunday for a pivotal divisional showdown against the Green Bay Packers at 4:25 pm.

Detroit goes into next weekend with a perfect 3-0 road record, while Green Bay is 3-1 at Lambeau Field this season.
