Despite having the worst record in the NBA this past season and one of the worst records in franchise history, the lottery balls were not favoring the Detroit Pistons over the weekend.

The Pistons finished the 2023-24 season with a league-worst 14-68 record and had a 14% chance to land the #1 overall pick in this year’s draft.

Whether people think the draft lottery is “rigged” or not, the Pistons’ losing ways over the years are not being completely rewarded by the current system that’s in place:
