Tigers drop three of four to Texas at home, finish week with a series win at Minnesota

The Detroit Tigers started off this past week with a tough home series against the defending champion Texas Rangers that resulted in the Rangers taking three of the four games to get the week started off on a sour note for the Tigers.

However, the Tigers would bounce back over the weekend and snag two of three from the defending A.L. Central champion Minnesota Twins to cap off a 3-4 week and stay above the .500 mark overall at 12-10 on the young season, good for third currently in the Central.

The Tigers begin this week on the road for a three-game set against the Tampa Bay Rays followed by an off day on Thursday and a three-game home set against the Kansas City Royals this coming weekend.
