For the third straight season, the Michigan Wolverines hockey program has been ousted in the first game of the Frozen Four after getting shutout in Thursday night’s national semifinal to the #1-ranked Boston College Eagles by a 4-0 decision.

The Wolverines are now 1-9 in their last 10 Frozen Four games and end the 2023-24 campaign with a 23-15-3 overall record.

The National Championship Game on Saturday night will feature #3 Denver, who edged #2 Boston University in overtime by a 2-1 final, against #1 Boston College at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
