Tigers Weekly Report: Small Strides

We’re down to the final few weeks of the 2023 Major League Baseball season, and the Detroit Tigers are still showing plenty of fight and, quite possibly, hope for the coming years.

This past week saw the Tigers drop two of three to the playoff-contending Cincinnati Reds at home before sweeping the banged up and lifeless Los Angeles Angels out west in three games to finish off a 4-2 winning week.

Now, Detroit sits at 70-79 overall and still in third in the American League Central, 8.5 games behind the first-place Minnesota Twins and 1.5 games back of the second-place Cleveland Guardians.
