The #4 Grand Valley State Lakers entertained the #19 Assumption Greyhounds this past Saturday afternoon in the first all-time meeting between the two programs, and in front of the tenth-largest crowd in Lubbers Stadium, the Lakers left no doubt in the overall result of the game.

The Lakers improve to 2-1 overall on the season and will head into a Bye Week this weekend before a “Battle of the Valleys” showdown on Saturday, September 30th against the Saginaw Valley Cardinals on the road at 6 pm.
