Troy Weaver sends season-ending letter to Pistons fans: “We appreciate your patience, trust, and loyal support”

The Detroit Pistons are winding the 2022-23 season and more than likely will end up with the worst record in the league and the best lottery odds at landing the prize piece of the 2023 NBA Draft in 7’2″ sensation Victor Wembanyama.

Before the season comes to an official close, Pistons general manager Troy Weaver decided to send out a quick message to the fans as he concludes his third season with the organization:

For those wondering, the worst season in franchise history was back during the 1979-80 season when the Pistons finished with a 16-66 record.

With a few games remaining, the Pistons are staring down either the second-worst season with another win or two or tied for the worst record in team history if they lose out.
