Tigers acquire Tyler Nevin from Baltimore for cash considerations

The Detroit Tigers have made another small offseason move in trading for infielder Tyler Nevin from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for cash considerations.

Nevin, the 25-year-old native of California, was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the first-round (38th overall) during the 2015 MLB Draft.

Nevin has appeared in 64 career games at the Major League level, all with Baltimore, hitting .205 with 3 home runs and 19 runs batted in while also playing in 521 games in the Minors.
