Last-second field goal dooms Lions in Thanksgiving loss to Buffalo

The Detroit Lions battled hard against the Super Bowl-contending Buffalo Bills in the annual Thanksgiving Day game at Ford Field, but ultimately, the Bills were able to boot the eventual game-winning field goal with a few seconds left on the clock to prevail on the road by three points.

The 4-7 Lions saw their three-game winning streak get snapped on Thursday afternoon and have now lost six straight on Thanksgiving (37-44-2 overall).

The Lions will get an extended rest to prepare for another home contest on Sunday, December 4th at 1 pm against the 3-7 Jacksonville Jaguars.
