In a thriller up in Big Rapids on Saturday afternoon, the #2-ranked Grand Valley State Lakers were able to use a big fourth quarter push to erase a ten-point deficit and knock off the rival and top-ranked Ferris State Bulldogs to recapture the Anchor-Bone Trophy.

The Lakers will become the new #1 team in the country and are now 7-0 overall on the season that includes a 2-0 mark in GLIAC play.

GVSU returns home to Lubbers Stadium this Saturday afternoon for a Homecoming clash against the Wildcats of Northern Michigan.
