Michigan’s Blake Corum named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

If it wasn’t for Blake Corum, #4 Michigan might have left the Big House on Saturday with loss to a pesky Maryland Terrapins bunch.

However, thanks in part to Corum’s performance on the ground, the Wolverines were able to come out victorious by a 34-27 final in their Big Ten Conference Opener while improving to 4-0 overall on the season.

Also, the native of Virginia was able to land some weekly conference honors following his 30-carry, 243-yard, and 2-touchdown performance.

The junior even racked up some national recognition as well:

This season, Corum has totaled 478 yards rushing on 64 carries to go with nine touchdowns while also catching two passes for eleven yards.
