The second-ranked Grand Valley State Football team had no issues during their non-conference tilt at Lubbers Stadium against the Oaklanders of Lincoln (CA) on Saturday night winning by a decisive 66-7 final. Saturday’s game marked the first all-time meeting between the two programs.
The Lakers improve to 3-0 on the season and now set their sights on a “non-conference” contest this Saturday in Detroit against the Wayne State Warriors at 6 pm. Even though they are going up against a GLIAC foe, the game will not count in the conference standings.
