Through the first two weeks of the 2022 regular season, Michigan State’s Jacoby Windmon has racked up 12 tackles, 6.5 for a loss, and 5.5 sacks to go with four forced fumbles, one pass deflection, and one fumble recovery.
Because of his output against both Western Michigan and Akron, the linebacker has claimed both Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors to begin the season.
We’ll see if Windmon can keep up this kind of production when the Spartans face its first true test of the season when they travel to Seattle to take on the Washington Huskies this Saturday night at 7:30 pm.
