Well, the former Detroit Tiger has a new gig lined up in baseball.
The former 26th overall pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks during the 2008 MLB Draft spent three seasons in Detroit from 2010-12 after coming over as part of the Max Scherzer trade appearing in 73 games (74.2 innings pitched) and posting a 3.98 ERA to go with 69 strikeouts.
The former Arizona Wildcat is currently wrapping up his first season as manager of the Frontier League’s Joliet Slammers.
