Legendary Michigan Softball Head Coach Carol Hutchins has decided to retire following a 38-year coaching career in Ann Arbor.
According to the University of Michigan release, Hutchins, who recently completed her 39th overall season as a head coach, is the winningest coach in NCAA softball history with 1,707 victories and a career winning percentage of .755 (1,707-555-5).
Hutchins also led the Wolverines to a National Championship back in 2005 where the Wolverines completed a historic 65-7 season.
