University of Michigan standout kicker Jake Moody has been named to the Associated Press Preseason All-American First Team.

Last season, Moody was a perfect 56-for-56 on extra point attempts while also going 23-for-25 on field goal attempts. Because of his near-perfect stats, the Northville, Michigan native became the first Wolverine to capture the Lou Groza Award for being the nation’s best kicker last season.

The redshirt senior has never missed an extra point kick during his time in Ann Arbor (88-for-88) and has successfully made 40 of his 49 career field goal kicks.
