Big Ten Lands Massive Media Rights Deal With FOX, CBS, NBC, Peacock, & FS1, More Expansion Coming?

The Big Ten Conference has officially landed a new seven-year media rights deal with FOX, CBS, NBC, Peacock, and FS1 worth a record $7-$8 billion.

As part of the new agreement, the Big Ten Football Conference Championship Game will be split between FOX (2023, 2025, 2027, 2029), CBS (2024 and 2028), and NBC (2026).

The new media rights contract kicks in on July 1, 2023 and goes through June 30, 2030.

There are also escalators in place that could push the value up to $10 billion, so could we see more expansion coming soon?
