The fiancé of Detroit Lions Quarterback Jared Goff says that fans would “blow up” her direct messages with death threats following every loss last season.

Model Christen Harper was also criticized last season for not being present during the Lions’ first win of the season against the Minnesota Vikings at Ford Field back in early December as she was posing for a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit feature.

“There’s this video of me that went viral, the Lions had their first win, and that comment section, the whole thing was like, ‘if she really was a fan she would have been at the game.’ And it’s like dude, I can’t win.”

Goff is entering his second season in Detroit after coming over from the Los Angeles Rams in the Matthew Stafford blockbuster trade in early 2021.

The Lions finished last season with the second-worst record in the NFL at 3-13-1 open the 2022 season on Sunday, September 11th at home against the Philadelphia Eagles.
