The Associated Press has officially released its College Football Preseason Poll prior to the start of the 2022 season in less than a month.

Compared to the Coaches Poll, both Michigan and Michigan State took slight drops as the Wolverines slipped two spots to #8, while the Spartans went down just one peg to #15.
Like the Coaches Poll, four Big Ten teams make the initial list in Ohio State (#2), Michigan (#8), Michigan State (#15), and Wisconsin (#18).
