The Mid-American Conference Championship Game in football is not leaving downtown Detroit for the next few years at least.

The recent contract extension takes place through the 2024 season, and Ford Field has served as the conference’s neutral site football championship game since the 2004 season.

To date, Ford Field has hosted 19 of the MAC’s 26 football conference championship games.
