The University of Michigan has found its new school president to replace the departed Mark Schlissel.
Santa J. Ono becomes the school’s 15th and first minority president, and his previous stops include serving as the president at the University of Cincinnati and University of British Columbia.
When it comes to athletics, Ono is considered to be pro-NIL and an “ardent sports fan.”
