Joel Zumaya Publicly Speaks On Personal Frustrations With Tigers Front Office

We’ve all seen it on social media over the past few weeks.

Former Tigers reliever Joel Zumaya is NOT happy about the current state of the organization and has not been afraid to voice his displeasure with Tigers owner Chris Ilitch and general manager Al Avila.

Last night, Zumaya made an appearance in West Michigan at the Whitecaps game and spoke with the local media about his comments made on social media towards the Tigers front office.

Since Avila took over for Dave Dombrowski as general manager in August of 2015, the Tigers have had one winning season in 2016 and not have made the playoffs.
